Ecotox

is a stimulating top-facility that provides an integrative research environment around the topic of ecotoxicological testing and experimental research.

• Mode-of-actions and mechanism-of-actions
• Test method development, in view of targets in AOPs (adverse outcome pathways)
• Sub-cellular to community level response mechanisms
• Bioassays with a range of organisms; zebrafish embryo, carp embryos, daphnids, isopods, amphipods, water) plants, earthworms, springtails
• Laboratory-field extrapolation
• Advice to policy e.g. REACH, (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization and restriction of Chemicals) and water type and soil type specific risk assessment
